This assembly connects two concrete panels at a corner using an L4x4x3/8 angle that is six inches long. The angle is welded to an EP-9 embed plate on one panel and an EP-2 embed plate on the adjacent panel, with the connection secured by five-sixteenths inch fillet welds applied to three sides of the angle. All exposed angles and plates located in corrosive areas of the building must be painted to prevent corrosion. The panels maintain a three-quarter inch joint gap at the corner.
