A concrete slab on grade meets an insulated wall panel featuring EPS insulation and a two-inch concrete clearance. Wall panel reinforcement includes number four vertical bars spaced at eighteen inches on center with standard hooks measuring thirty-six inches. Expanded polystyrene insulation is removed adjacent to the slab junction to provide a minimum one-inch clearance. A U-mesh reinforcing detail ties the concrete slab to the wall panel top. Glass and glazing systems sit above the concrete wall panel per architectural drawings.
