An underground two-inch PVC conduit transitions upward through a concrete slab with a thirty-six-inch radius bend. A conduit coupling sits flush to the finish floor surface and receives a threaded plug if the conduit is not immediately extended. Marking whiskers attach to the plug for identification, while an underslab vapor barrier and waterproofing are installed where applicable.
