Wireless access point unit secured against an inaccessible ceiling using a mounting bracket fastened to a stud. An outlet or device backbox connects to a secondary pathway leading to an accessible ceiling or primary pathway. A horizontal link cable terminates at an outlet jack, connecting to the wireless access point via a patch cord.
