A two-post network equipment rack mounts to a concrete slab on metal deck using four half-inch diameter Hiliti KB-TZ expansion anchors with a minimum two-inch embedment at each base. The mounting angles attach to the rack using two three-eighths-inch diameter ASTM A307 bolts at each end tightened to a torque of twenty foot-pounds. The concrete slab consists of normal weight concrete or sand lightweight concrete with a minimum compressive strength of three thousand psi and a minimum thickness of six inches. Minimum edge distance from any opening or spacing from any other equipment bolt is twenty-four inches typical, with a minimum edge distance of nine-sixteenths of an inch.
