Fire-rated plywood backboard measuring three-quarters of an inch thick by eight feet high by four feet long is secured to cold-formed metal studs with minimum number twelve sheet metal screws at eight inches on center using three-quarters of an inch flat washers in a staggered fastener pattern. Existing five-eighths inch gypsum board serves as the base wall finish behind the plywood panel. An equipment rack and cable runway ladder racking are supported at ninety inches above finished floor using angle brackets and triangle mounting brackets attached directly to the backboard assembly.
