A speaker assembly weighing less than eight pounds is suspended from an overhead structure using twelve gauge steel hanger wire. The speaker backcan houses the speaker unit, which is secured to a tile bridge with typical tamper-proof screws. The tile bridge rests upon and attaches to a T-bar ceiling grid or drywall suspension system where applicable.
