A two-post network equipment rack is secured to a concrete slab on metal deck utilizing normal weight or sand lightweight concrete with a three thousand PSI minimum strength. The base is anchored with four five-eighths inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ expansion anchors requiring a three and one-eighth inch minimum embedment. Each mounting angle is fastened with two three-eighths inch diameter ASTM A307 bolts tightened to twenty foot-pounds of torque. Minimum edge distance and spacing from any opening or other equipment bolt is six inches typical. The concrete slab has a six-inch minimum thickness.
