A camera dome housing mounts directly to a junction box set within a hard ceiling below a structural ceiling slab. The junction box measures a minimum of four inches square by two and seven-eighths inches deep and is installed without a trim ring. A one-inch conduit runs from the junction box to the accessible ceiling space to route cabling. CAT6 cabling extends through the conduit to the closest telecommunications room.
