A roll-up door contact switch is secured to the floor or the bottom of the door frame with a corresponding magnet attached to the door panel. A flexible stainless steel cable routes wiring from the switch to a single gang junction box. A conduit runs from the junction box to a larger 12x12x4 junction box above. Door hardware groups per Division 8 govern the specific contact switch selection and installation requirements.
