An insulated concrete sandwich panel features concrete layers cast on each side of an expanded polystyrene core. Welded wire reinforcement is embedded within the concrete faces and tied to diagonal truss wires spanning through the insulation. Additional reinforcement is placed per plan on each side and tied to the face mesh to maintain positioning during concrete placement. Expanded polystyrene is removed locally to provide a one-inch clearance at the additional reinforcement.
