A pendant-mounted security camera suspends from an overhead slab or red iron structure using a three-quarter inch conduit routed to an accessible cable tray or ceiling. A four-inch square junction box provided by the electrical contractor connects the conduit drop to the security camera unit. CAT6 cabling supplied by the low-voltage contractor routes through the assembly to the camera. The installation targets a nominal ten feet above finished floor, subject to field coordination and adjustments to clear lighting, ductwork, or signage obstructions.
