A pendant speaker weighing approximately 9.5 pounds hangs from an overhead concrete slab and metal deck assembly. The speaker fixture is suspended using a tether and a 10-inch bent plate steel angle attached to the metal deck flute with two number-10 sheet metal screws. Electrical feeds are supplied via rigid or EMT conduit connected to a two-gang speaker junction box with a screw cover.
