Cable runway sections are joined end-to-end or at intersections using heavy-duty junction and butt splice clamp kits, specifically Chatsworth Products item number 11299-701 or equivalent. The assembly utilizes three-eighths-16 by one-and-one-quarter-inch hex cap screws passing through the splice plates and runway side stringers. Three-eighths-inch split lock washers and three-eighths-16 hex nuts secure the threaded fasteners on the exterior of the connection.
