A six-inch concrete pad is poured over a roughened surface with pad height specified per plans. Reinforcement consists of number four bars spaced at eighteen inches each way within the pad. Vertical dowels of number four bars are spaced at twenty-four inches each way with hooked ends extending into the supporting substrate.
