A laser projector is suspended below a finished T-bar ceiling using a 1-1/2-inch National Pipe Thread pipe connected to an overhead mounting plate. The assembly hangs from two 24-inch long parallel P1000 Unistrut channels secured to the concrete slab above using 1/2-inch Hilti KBTZ2 expansion anchors with 2-1/2-inch nominal embedment and 3/8-inch diameter Hilti KH-EZI concrete screw anchors with 2-1/8-inch nominal embedment. Three-eighths-inch all-thread hangers and P1000 Unistrut braces running in both directions provide lateral bracing attached to the concrete slab with P1843W hinge metal couplers. The structural support requires rigidity free from perceptible vibration to prevent image movement for a maximum projector weight of 40 pounds.
