This assembly details the base mounting of a two-post telecommunications equipment rack, such as Chatsworth Products part number 46353-X03 or equal, secured to a concrete floor. Each corner base flange is anchored to the concrete slab using four one-half inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 expansion anchors with a three-and-one-quarter inch minimum embedment. The installation accommodates a maximum weight capacity of one thousand five hundred pounds on a slab on grade, or eight hundred ninety pounds on a level two concrete over metal deck installation. Nuts and washers secure the vertical rack channels to the base mounting plates.
