A dome camera mounts to a wall using a manufacturer-supplied wall mount with an included junction box fastened to a four-inch square by three-and-a-half-inch deep single-gang electrical box. A conduit runs from the electrical box to the nearest cable tray or accessible ceiling space for wiring. The assembly accommodates existing finishes where they occur and supports a maximum camera weight of ten pounds.
