The speaker enclosure is centered in the ceiling tile and supported by a tile bridge that bears the entire weight of the assembly from the typical T-bar grid. A rated load cable connects the speaker enclosure directly to the building structure in compliance with seismic rating requirements. For gypsum board ceilings, the speaker enclosure is supported within the ceiling framing and gypsum board ceiling assembly, with an independent rated load cable anchored to the structural overhead.
