Tree protection fencing installation per section 015639 is supported on concrete block or steel base stands. The fence height is maintained at a minimum of 6 feet with post spacing at a maximum of 12 feet and a maximum clearance of 8 inches at the base. Tree protection signage must be provided at 50 feet on center along the fencing installation. Where tree protection matches construction limits, use the civil construction limit fence detail; where separate, use the tree protection fence detail as shown. Tree protection within the street right-of-way must comply with the street improvement permit.
