Universal cable runways suspend from ceilings via a 5/8-inch threaded rod secured by nuts and lockwashers above and below the ceiling support bracket and runway support bracket. Wall attachments utilize a triangular support bracket or wall angle support kit secured to metal studs using 2-1/4 inch by 14 hex washer head Hilti screws through plywood into a minimum 16-gauge steel stud or backing. For concrete masonry unit attachments, two 1/2-inch Hilti KB3 expansion anchors are installed through plywood into the masonry with a 3-1/2 inch minimum embedment. Standard washers measuring 3/4-inch diameter by 3/8-inch thick are provided at fasteners where slotted holes occur on the runway stringers.
