A camera dome housing is mounted flush through an accessible ceiling panel and connected to a minimum 4-inch square by 2-7/8 inch deep junction box without a trim ring. A CAT6 patch cord links the camera to a surface mount box and continues as cable routed to the telecom room. Twenty feet of CAT6 cable is coiled to provide slack. A dedicated hanger supports the cabling from the structural ceiling above.
