A basket cable tray is suspended overhead using minimum five-eighths inch threaded rods tied to framing channel supports beneath the tray. Hold-down clamps secure the basket to the channel supports. The maximum allowable distance between supports is eight feet unless directed otherwise by the tray manufacturer.
