An interior IP camera dome housing is mounted using a four-eleven-sixteenths-inch square by two-and-five-sixths-inch deep backbox recessed into the finished ceiling. A flexible conduit extends from the backbox and transitions to a one-inch conduit running toward the nearest accessible ceiling. The assembly hangs below the structural ceiling slab with support provided by the backbox and conduit connections.
