The loudspeaker assembly is suspended from the rigid structure above the finished ceiling using one center support wire and a minimum of four twelve-gauge bracing wires splayed at forty-five degrees. Each bracing wire requires a minimum of four tight turns in one and one-half inches at both ends and attaches to the wood cross bracing via a one-quarter-inch screw eye. The ten-pound speaker features a steel backcan and a perforated grill, and must be supported directly from the structural framing rather than the ceiling system.
