A concrete ramp landing pad connects to a concrete slab on grade over a supporting concrete vertical element sized per plan. Six 3/4 inch diameter by 2 foot long smooth dowels spaced at 18 inches on center transfer shear across the joint below an embedded steel angle. Two dowels minimum are provided. The concrete slab on grade thickness and reinforcement are sized per plan.
