Floor framing layout and deck support conditions at a structural steel column. An angle measuring 3x3x1/4 is provided as required to support the metal deck, with deck closure to the column web per the manufacturer's specifications. Additional reinforcing bars size number 4 are placed at the top on each side with hook ends as required, extending a minimum of 1 foot 6 inches with a typical 6-inch spacing. A typical 1/2-inch clearance is maintained around the column flange and web intersections. Floor framing members tie into the column assembly according to the structural framing plan.
