Floor or roof deck openings between two feet and six feet wide are framed with C8x11.5 channel headers and C6x8.2 channel trimmers. C8 channels align with the first full flute adjacent to the opening edge. Connection points utilize a 3/8 inch by 3 inch by 4 inch plate. All connections are secured with 1/4 inch fillet welds. A one and one-half inch clearance is maintained around the opening perimeter.
