Structural end connection assembly for a cased steel core member. Lug plates extend from the end of the steel core and casing, with sizing parameters defined such that the gap thickness equals the gusset thickness plus one-sixteenth of an inch per the connection board schedule. Bolt holes located within the connection lugs are specified as standard holes.
