A glued laminated timber panel and floor plywood rest atop a continuous wood plate secured by SDS structural screws spaced at three and a half inches on center into the underside of the glulam. The assembly bears on a steel beam sized per plan and utilizes five-eighths inch diameter welded studs spaced at nine inches on center for shear transfer.
