Equipment is mounted to a concrete slab using manufacturer-specified rails or plates anchored with 3/8-inch diameter Simpson Strong-Bolt 2 anchors. The anchors pass through holes in the rail or plate and achieve a 2 1/2-inch embedment into a concrete slab with a 5-inch minimum thickness, verified in field. A minimum distance of 6 inches must be maintained from the center of the anchor to the edge of the slab or construction joint.
