A one-quarter-inch minimum fillet weld secures the anchor per manufacturer recommendations. Full-depth stiffener plates measuring one-half inch thick are welded to each side of the beam web centered on the tieback anchor with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on three sides typically. A metal roof deck spans across the assembly per plan, with concrete pavers shown where applicable per architectural drawings. An angle brace connects to the beam web stiffener assembly per detail 22/S6.1, while the main wide-flange beam is sized per plan.
