This assembly features a reinforced slab-on-grade cast over a vapor barrier. Beneath the vapor barrier, a six-inch layer of five-eighths-inch minus crushed rock serves as a capillary break. The entire assembly rests upon a layer of compacted subgrade. The slab thickness is indicated by equal dimension markers.
