A curtain wall window mullion attaches to a structural steel framing system. A steel beam supports a metal deck concrete slab with a composite top flange, maintaining a specified dimension of twelve inches or greater per plan. The connection for the curtain wall is provided by the curtain wall supplier. Spatial clearances include a one and one-half inch dimension associated with the slab edge alignment.
