A cold-formed steel strap and gusset plate connection anchors to a concrete curb. A fourteen-gauge by five-inch metal strap connects to a fourteen-gauge gusset plate using twenty-two number twelve screws. The gusset plate ties into a sixteen-gauge steel track secured with ten number twelve screws. At the wall end, double studs incorporate a Simpson HDU9 hold-down anchored with a five-eighths-inch diameter by twelve-inch epoxy anchor into the concrete below. Additional eighteen-gauge plates spaced at six inches on center attach to each stud with two number twelve screws.
