Two number five reinforcing bars run continuously through the column intersection with a one-inch clearance from the top of the slab typically. Additional hooks terminate at the exterior slab edge where applicable, extending two feet six inches from the grid line. Steel deck is omitted from the drawing for clarity, and framing beam sizes are sized per plan.
