A fall arrest anchor and its attachment are mounted per manufacturer specifications above a roof deck and a hollow structural section support sized per plan. Strength-level loads are specified as five thousand pounds of force and seven thousand five hundred pound-feet of moment. The plate width must be confirmed with the fall arrest manufacturer, and the engineer must be notified if the plate is larger than the beam.
