The splayed brace detail utilizes a one-inch wide by twelve-gauge minimum steel strap secured with a five-sixteenth-inch minimum drill-in expansion anchor and connected to a wire with four tight turns in one and one-half inches, oriented at forty-five degrees. The vertical hanger detail features a thirteen-gauge by nine-inch long minimum ceiling clip secured with a three-quarter-inch minimum penetration shot-in anchor, suspending a vertical wire formed with three tight turns in one and one-half inches.
