Steel framing connection joining beams to a hollow structural section column via a continuous through-plate. The assembly features a one-quarter-inch cap plate at the tube end welded with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld to the column. Beams attach to the connection plate using bolts spaced at three inches typical unless noted otherwise, with plate sizes and bolt diameters per the bolted beam connection schedule. Single-beam connections on the through-plate extend one-half inch past the exterior face of the column to allow weld access.
