An angle measuring three inches by three inches by three-sixteenths of an inch is sized to the width of the opening plus three feet typical at isolated openings in non-composite metal deck. The angle is secured with a one-eighth-inch one-spot weld at each flute. Metal deck manufacturer closure is provided. Openings less than six inches by six inches require no framing and openings must maintain a twenty-inch minimum clearance between them.
