A concrete slab over metal deck bears directly into a masonry wall containing bond beam reinforcing. Number four dowels are hooked with twenty-four-inch horizontal and sixteen-inch vertical legs and spaced at twenty-four inches on center, extending from the bond beam into the concrete slab. The masonry wall and bond beam sizes are sized per plan and schedule. The slab thickness and metal deck size and gauge are sized per general structural notes.
