A reinforced concrete footing supports a precast concrete wall panel aligned at its centerline, with a number five dowel at sixteen inches on center coordinated with the precast manufacturer. A one-inch shim and grout space sits beneath the precast panel, which connects via a precast connection plate referenced to another detail. The interior slab-on-grade and exterior paving transition at the door threshold with a one-half-inch expansion joint and sealant. A vapor barrier sits over a compacted, prepared subgrade resting on crushed stone beneath the slab, while the footing features three inches of clear cover typical. Footing reinforcement is sized per the footing schedule, and steel exposed to earth receives a protective coating with exposed steel galvanized per notes.
