The unit heater piping assembly connects to the supply and return mains suspended from the joist structure unless otherwise indicated. The supply line incorporates typical ball valves, pressure/temperature test plugs, and a dirt leg at the drop. The return line includes a manual air vent and a two-way pressure-independent balancing and modulating control valve equipped with a flow meter. Union connections are provided throughout the piping arrangement for maintenance access and equipment isolation.
