A brick veneer support assembly anchored to cold-formed steel framing at a roof deflection connection. An L4x4 steel angle lintel provides four inches of bearing on the brick masonry at each end. The 600S162-43 and 600T150-43 cold-formed steel studs tie back to the structural framing using Dietrich Fast Clips secured with two Elco Dril-Flex number 12-14 screws in slotted holes, backed off to allow the roof beam to deflect nine inches. Two powder-actuated fasteners attach the clip to the deck edge. Additional bracing is provided by 400S162-43 stud braces and veneer ties spaced per specifications.
