An HSS16x12 screenwall girt connects to a W21 structural steel column sized per plan. A 5/8-inch plate is welded to one side of the girt with 5/16-inch fillet welds. One-half-inch stiffener plates are welded to the column web on each side using typical 5/16-inch fillet welds. Additional plates sized per plan are installed at the top and bottom with dimensions of three inches and six inches.
