A threaded hanger rod connects via a number two-and-one-half clevis and three-quarter-inch diameter pin to a one-half-inch thick plate welded to the underside of a wide flange beam. Three-eighths-inch thick stiffener plates are welded to each side of the beam web with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds. The lower plate is attached to the beam flanges with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds.
