A wood post connects to a concrete slab using a Simpson ABU 66 post base secured with through-bolts. The post base anchors into the four-inch thick concrete slab with a 5/8-inch diameter Hilti KWK Bolt TZ expansion anchor. The anchor embeds into the concrete per ESR #1917 specifications.
