An open web steel joist frames into a cold-formed metal stud wall featuring a continuous track at the top and bottom. The joist is sized per plan and connects to the vertical framing with four number eight screws. Metal stud blocking is provided beneath the joist bearing location for load transfer. Vertical metal studs continue past the connection and are sized per the architectural schedule. A suspended ceiling and interior finishes are coordinated with the architectural drawings.
