A cold-formed steel wall bears directly above a steel beam, aligned with the face of the stud at the edge of the slab. A one-quarter inch bent plate welded to the steel beam flange incorporates three-quarter inch diameter by six-inch headed studs spaced at two inches on center. A three-by-three by three-eighths inch angle supports the metal deck bearing, secured with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds. Sureboard sheathing is applied to the cold-formed steel wall per plan. The top of steel elevation is marked, and connection details refer to sheet S5.32.
