A davit socket pedestal is supported by a structural steel corner column and beam assembly. A square steel base plate measuring three-quarters of an inch by twelve inches is welded beneath the pedestal with three-eighths-inch fillet welds. Diagonal bracing angles sized L8x4x1/2 long leg vertical provide lateral support from the framing. The beam and column sizes are sized per plan, with specific maximum offsets and minimum clearances indicated.
